FAR NORTH QUEENSLAND WEEKEND AWAY

Haemophilia Foundation Queensland (HFQ) in conjunction with the Queensland Haemophilia Treatment Centre (QHTC) hosted the Far North Queensland Weekend Away for families and individuals living in Far North Qld with inheirited bleeding disorders. This weekend was held at Mission Beachin June.

The weekend featured education and information sessions faciliated by Queensland Haemophilia Centre staff relating to various topics associated with the care, treatment and managment of inheirted bleeding disorders. There was also plenty of opportunity to spend the day on Dunk Island. There was also plenty of time to spend with other individuals/families, treatment centre staff and representatives from HFQ on an informal basis.
