Women bleed too survey

Can you help with our Women bleed too survey?

HFA is working to improve access to diagnosis, treatment and care for women and girls with bleeding disorders in Australia.

What are the experiences of Australian women and girls with bleeding disorders when they speak up for themselves in health care settings? Eg, GPs, emergency departments, other medical specialists or surgery appointments.

What tools or resources help them in these settings?
It could be an ABDR patient card, a period diary, an HFA fact sheet, a call to the HTC, someone coming with you – or something else.

How could these tools or resources be improved?
What else is needed?

This survey is now closed.

Who can complete the survey?

  • Women and girls with bleeding disorders/carry the gene
  • Partners or family members who have accompanied or supported them
  • Australian residents only

It has been recognised internationally that women and girls with bleeding disorders face particular challenges, delaying their access to diagnosis and specialised treatment and care. Help us make a difference.
