Annual General Meeting
20 Oct, 2020
This year’s Member Information Night and Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be tonight (Tuesday 20th October 2020), at 7:00pm. As few RSVP’s have indicated a willingness to hold a face-to-face meeting the AGM will be held via Zoom only.
The meeting is open to all financial members, volunteers, staff and others with an interest in the organisation. However only Financial Members can vote at the AGM. If you would like to attend please call the office on 0419 706 056 and the zoom link will be texted to you.
One of the items of business at the AGM is the election of a new Board Directors for the organisation. The number of board nominations received by 30 September was eleven (11) which is allowable under our constitution, and only one nomination for each office holder position was received, so these positions will be put uncontested to the meeting.
The meeting will also be asked to vote on several minor changes to the constitution. One was put previously and this has now raised a few extra minor changes for consideration. Please follow these links for the Minutes of last years AGM, the Agenda the constitutional change document and the additional constitutional changes for this upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Our Annual Report document which includes the financial statements will also be presented to the meeting, or a seperate copy of our Audited Financial Statements can be downlaoded here.
Ever popular and informative, this is your chance to hear from all areas of the foundation, from President David Stephenson and board members to manager Graham Norton delivering their review of the last year, updating on progress and forecasting for the year ahead.
As always, both the AGM and Members' Information Night offer you the chance to ask your questions of the foundation, feed in your opinions and be fully updated on the work we do, but because of Covid-19 social distancing rules RSVP’s are required, or you can zoom in on-line for the meeting.
If you have any questions ahead of the meeting, please contact Lauren Albert at [email protected] or call Graham Norton, the HFQ manager on mobile 0419 706 056; or by email [email protected].
