Volunteer

We rely on the generous support of individuals and groups within the community to allow us to provide services, education and support for people living with haemophilia and other bleeding disorders so they can lead an active, fulfilling life. There are many ways you can help.

“We are nothing without the support and help of our volunteers”.

Haemophilia Foundation Queensland regularly holds a variety of community events that are organised by volunteers, so we are always on the lookout for more volunteers. If you want to lend a helping hand at one of our events please get in contact with us.

The HFQ volunteer program is built on the strengths of our dedicated group of volunteers and supporters. Motivated by a personal connection to the cause, or a passion to improve the health and wellbeing of people affected by bleeding disorders, many of our volunteers generously contribute time and energy to assist us in delivering our programs and events. In return our volunteers have their lives enriched by developing their interests, learning new skills and making new friendships.

We also need people with specialised skills sets to help us meet our obligations and commitments. Whether you are a designer, photographer or accountant we would value and appreciate your help, so why not lend your time and talents to strive for and improve the health and quality of life of all people affected by inherited bleeding disorders?
